Hays Steel SFI Certified Flexplate – Small and Big Block ChevroletHays heavy duty Flexplate for high performance competition Chevy engines are constructed of a thicker than stock steel plate.This enables them to withstand the stress of high-stall torque converters and high-RPM engines.These flexplates are supplied with a ring gear that is securely welded in place and feature a dual bolt pattern for use with a Powerglide or Turbo style torque converter.This flexplate has a 168 tooth ring gear and fits the internal balance Chevy V8 engines.It is S.F.I. 29.1 certified and zinc dichromate plated to resist corrosion.This is for 396, 402, and 427 big block engines. 454 and larger big blocks were externally balanced from the factory.
